Hi, all we are discuss to create a partition of a hard drive in your operation system. In this, we can use the easy method without taking any tool to do a partition of the hard drive.
What is a partition?
The partition of the hard drive in the window means two different section/disk which are the parts of it and makes that part available to the operating system.
Maximum of the time, this "part" of the hard drive is the full usable space, however creating more than one partition on a hard drive is likewise viable so that you can store backup files in one partition, movies in every other, etc.
How to Partition a Hard Drive in Windows.
In the partition of a hard drive, we are easy to create and take a minimum time to do a partition. When we speak about “drives” categorized C:, D:, and so forth, they are also is a partition. Every hard drive in use has at least one partition. You can shrink that partition and create new ones out of the extra space.
Now, we are following the step given below:-
Step1:- Open Control Panel is searching in the start menu.
Step2:- After that search disk management in the search bar.
Step3:- Click on the administrative tool and wait until you can see a new pop-up window open.
Step4:- After that click on Computer Management and wait.
Step5:- Now the pop-up window is open.
Step6:- Now, select disk management.
Step7:- Select the drive which you want to partition in the hard drive and right-click the button and select shrink volume.
Step8:- After that select shrink volume and enter the amount of space that you want to shrink in MB then press Enter key.
Step9:- Once you've found the space you want to partition, tap-and-hold or right-click anywhere on it, and choose New Simple Volume.
Step10:- Now click to next.
Step 11:- Then again click next, before you choose the Specify Volume Size step to confirm the size of the drive you're creating.
Step 12:- Select the next before you choose Assign Drive, Letter, or Path step, assuming the default drive letter you see is OK with you.
Step13:- Choose To format the volume with the default settings, select Next.
Step14:- Verify your choices on the Completing the New Simple Volume Wizard screen, which should look something like this.
Step15:- Choose Finish and Windows will partition the drive, a process that will only take a few seconds on most computers.
Now after that, follow these steps you show there a disk is active in disk management. which you are creating without any issue. You learn it very easily.
